She has founded three companies focused on different aspects of multilingual global content.
With more than 15 years in the translation and localization industry, Johanna also has experience as University Professor and E-learning Developer.
She was Linguistic Coordinator for Lionbridge, where she was responsible for the quality assurance of Fortune-500 software/web localization projects.
Nowadays, she leads Angloc Communications, a multilingual content company which works with companies from around the world.
She is also co-founder and Director of Bequalified, an online training company.
Johanna holds a B.A. in Applied Linguistics, a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and an MBA. She is currently studying System Analysis and Programming.
Johanna is an independent researcher and her main research topics are Software/Web Localization, and Language Technology. She shares her insights with Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation (GILT) community in conferences and workshops. Her presentations include topics such as SW/Web Localization, Translation Quality, and Language Technology.
Johanna has made presentations in the UK, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Peru.
