BIO

Entrepreneur at Heart. My passion is global communication.

Johanna holds a B.A. in Applied Linguistics.  She holds a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and an MBA.
With more than ten years in translation and localization industry -performing translating, editing, QA and project management duties- Johanna has also experience as Translation Professor, Content Developer and Copywriter.

She was Linguistic Coordinator for Lionbridge, where she was responsible for the quality assurance of Fortune-500 companies' localizations projects.  Nowadays, she leads two companies. One is a global content & communication company, which works with companies from around the world. 

Currently, she is also working on the development of e-learning courses. 

Johanna is Vice-president of The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP).

She is an independent researcher and she shares her insights with the localization community in conferences and workshops.  Her presentations include topics such as Web & SW Localization and Internationalization, Service Quality and Project Management.
